Experts from biotech, pharmaceutical and IT diagnostics companies, associations and clusters will be discussing the current status and the future orientation of personalized medicine. First up will be Dr. Friedrich von Bohlen und Halbach, managing director and co-founder of dievini Hopp BioTech holding GmbH & Co KG, who will be opening the Personalized Theme Day with a look into the future. This will be followed by a wide range of presentations, addressing the issues of, for example, which advantages approaches such as precision medicine offer and how that impacts on the health system from an economic perspective too (valid joint ventures and business models in precision medicine and individualized medicine). A presentation program panel will moreover be addressing the megatrend of digitization and the associated question as to how we can make ultimately useful smart data from big data (One in a million—your data will be king 12:30 to 14:00).
