Lecture Halle B1 Forum Laboratory & Analysis

14:00-14:30 h | Hall B1 B1.135/Forum Laboratory&Analysis

Different spectroscopic techniques will be presented while pointing out which sensors are suited best to reach the ideal performance. In the process Hamamatsu's latest developments regarding Image Sensors for the UV, VIS and IR range are shown. Furthermore, we will introduce our latest Mini- and Microspectrometers featuring our new compact FTIR engine.

Subjects: Analysis | Optical imaging / processing | Biotechnology & Life Sciences | Energy/Environment/Water | Laboratory Technology | Food Analysis | Test and Measurement and Quality Control | Pharma & Diagnostics

Speaker: Christoph Wöhnl (Hamamatsu Photonics Deutschland GmbH)

Type: Lecture

Speech: English

Spectroscopy is a very powerful and versatile method. By measuring a spectrum it is possible to get a lot of information about the composition, color or even the thickness of a specimen.

Hamamatsu is not only a world famous producer of highest quality image sensors for spectroscopy but also a manufacturer of novel miniaturized spectrometers.

We will show various spectroscopic methods with the respective benefit and Hamamatsu's capability of providing the solution with the best fit to your application.
