Lecture Halle B1 Forum Laboratory & Analysis

10:00-10:30 h | Hall B1 B1.135/Forum Laboratory&Analysis

Come and learn about the breakthrough technology that is revolutionizing high throughput mass spectrometry. What if you could reduce sample matrix effects, improve data quality, and decrease your sample analysis times to 3 samples/second? Acoustic Ejection Mass Spectrometry changes how laboratories are managing their demanding sample analysis requirements.

Subjects: Pharma & Diagnostics | Laboratory Technology | Automatisierung | Applications | Analysis

Speaker: Dr. Gavin Fischer (SCIEX)

Type: Lecture

Speech: English

Acoustic Ejection Mass Spectrometry (AEMS) is a novel technology that delivers liquid samples directly from the sample plate to the MS probe, eliminating the need for the LC in high throughput applications. While other techniques may parallel the speed of AEMS, the ability to inject samples without the time-consuming preparation steps while generating high quality mass spectral data that significantly reduces the rate of false positives or negatives in HTS, AEMS delivers a step-change improvement to laboratory workflow. Data will demonstrate the utility of AEMS for HTS, DMPK, and proteomics applications.
