Partial air-conditioning in the halls and enclosed entrances ensure that all facilities are both functional and comfortable regardless of the season or weather. Exhibitors throughout the grounds are supplied with electricity, water and compressed air through a functional system of floor/ground conduits. The most modern information technology for transmitting data, voice and images as well as WLAN technology are standard in all halls. Naturally, innovative communications technology ensures optimum, high-speed connections between market partners at all times. |

Separate technical guidelines apply to the foyer of the ICM. Floors – Permissible loads – Gates
General: With the exception of Hall B0, motor vehicles can be driven into the halls. However, doing so is only permissible at walking pace. The underfloor utility ducts can withstand the weight of a vehicle when covered. With an evenly distributed load, their load-bearing capacity corresponds to that of the general load-bearing capacity of the floor in question. The maximum point loads posted for the hall floors does not apply to the areas near the utility ducts.
The weight limits posted for the passenger and freight elevators may not be exceeded under any circumstances. Passenger elevators and escalators may not be used to transport freight.
Any damage caused by non-compliance with these guidelines must be remedied by MMG at the expense of the exhibitor and/or his agents.
